Stainless Software 1982-1985

Emulator users can enjoy several disks of Stainless Software programs.
Previous page go to next page Stainless Software was a computer software publishing business operated in the United Kingdom by Stephen Shaw from 1982 to 1985, catering only for the Texas Instruments TI99/4a Home Computer.
This web page exists to record the many items of software that Stainless sold for the TI99/4a, mostly on cassette tape.

From Page 7 onwards these web pages detail software programs for the TI99/4a formerly sold by Stainless Software from 1982, which failed to be retained in the final 1985 catalogue, which is on Pages 1 to 6.

HI D PLOT,HI D LINES, 3D DIMPLE
HI D Plot routine will SET a spot on the screen (256x192), HI D Lines routine will join two spots with a line. (NB:The full screen area cannot be used -the limitation is the number of characters which can he redefined). The third is a demo program. .

3D FNC and AUTO 3D FNC (EXTENDED BASIC)
Plot a 3-dimensional graph using x,y,and z axes.
Insert a line in 3D FNC defining Z in terms of X and Y (Auto 3D FNC choses one for you at random).
Key in- Accuracy, distance between points plotted.
Grid Width. Axis limits for X Y and Z - but be careful you may select a region with no plots! The program will cease execution when the plot is finished or it has run out of characters. The results CAN be interesting

In this game you must estimate as closely as you can the passage of time (from 1 to 10 seconds) - watch some interesting graphics and then see how close you were - your accuracy is translated into Decathlon scores.
